A S878 abend may occur if ISPZIP is called multiple times within the
same step and DCB=BUFNO=nn is specified on input or output DD statements.

_PROBLEM SUMMARY:
USERS AFFECTED: All

ISPZIP uses BSAM to read and write it's input and output datasets.
The DCBs for these datasets specify BUFNO=0 so that ISPZIP can allocate
and manage it's own buffer pool. As ISPZIP manages it's own buffer
pools it does not issue a FREEPOOL statement for these datasets.

Specifying the BUFNO parameter on the JCL causes the system to allocate
buffers for these dataset at open. ISPZIP is not expecting the buffers
to be allocated and does not use them. Subsequently it does not
free them when terminating.

_PROBLEM CONCLUSION
RECOMMENDATION: Apply APAR fix ASZ3202

ISPZIP will be changed to always issue a FREEPOOL statement for input
and output datasets when terminating.  This will free any buffers
allocated by the system.
